Position: Dental Hygienist

Schedule: Monday through Friday

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team and help us continue our tradition of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning and polishing of teeth.
- Apply preventive materials such as fluoride and sealants.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
- Take dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations.
- Conduct initial patient screenings including assessment of oral health conditions, review of health history, and oral cancer screenings.
- Document treatment plans and care provided.
- Work closely with the dental team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the dental hygiene field.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked operatory.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- Valid state Dental Hygiene license.
- Radiography/ X-ray certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in dental software.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
